CSF – Sud de France are here to offer support to those affected by cancer living in the Aude, the Ariege and the Pyrennées Orientales. We help by:

• Offering support to people affected by cancer and their carers by being available on the telephone to listen
• Attending hospital appointments with you to help with translation
• Offering support through visits at home or in hospital when possible
• Helping you to ask the questions that you need answers to
• Guiding you to sources of advice and help, and to information about cancer and it’s treatment

The team

• All of our support team have received training from Cancer Support France, however we are not medically trained.

• Many of our volunteers have experienced cancer first-hand and understand the emotional effects of the disease and its treatment.

• Within the team there are French speakers who will help you communicate more effectively with your doctors.

• Notre équipe de soutien suit une formation de Cancer Support France, mais elle n’a pas de formation médicale.

• Beaucoup de nos bénévoles ont été touchés par le cancer et comprennent bien des émotions suscitées par la maladie et son traitement.
